Warranty Policy

WARRANTY COVERAGE

1. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE: 7 BUSINESS DAYS RETURN POLICY. FULL REFUND. CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE & NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

We accept returns up to 7 business days after the purchase in clean, unused condition. You MUST provide the original invoice to be eligible for a refund. Credit Card Surcharges and Delivery Fees are non-refundable. Customers should bring their vehicle back to Tiremaxx 50km after installation for retorquing to ensure safety of the person and increase longevity of the parts. Failure to do so may result in damages which Tiremaxx is not liable for.

2. MANUFACTURER DEFECTS WARRANTY

All tires purchased directly from Tiremaxx have a 1 year manufacturer defect warranty. These are: Tread/Bead/Belt Separation; Sidewall Cracks; Unbalanced Tires; Tread Bulging. Road Cruza tires have a 2 years manufacturer defects warranty.  Tires purchased from outside our inventory (as stated on invoice) are NOT covered by Tiremaxx warranty, but may have the respective manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty only covers the specific tire that is damaged and does not provide credit for the other tires on the vehicle. The cost of mounting, balancing, and any other service charges (including applicable taxes) is not included in the warranty and MUST be paid for by the customer.

3. MILEAGE TREAD WEAR WARRANTY

To be eligible for a claim under this type of warranty, you MUST have your tires installed by Tiremaxx. Your vehicle information will be recorded. To have your claim approved, you MUST show service records proving the tires were rotated regularly, according to the manufacturer’s recommendation. Selected tires are assigned a mileage warranty that protects the consumer against premature tread wear. If a tire reaches the end of its “usable tread life” before the stated mileage warranty, the customer will be issued a replacement tire on a prorated basis. To maintain a tread wear warranty, all tires must be rotated at least every 8,000 to 10,000km. Failure to rotate your tires and provide adequate records voids the mileage warranty. The cost of mounting, balancing, and any other service charges (including applicable taxes) is not included in the warranty and MUST be paid for by the customer.

4. MILEAGE TREAD WARRANTY IS VOID FOR:

(a) Tires not purchased as a set of four; (b) Winter tires (as they have softer tread to stay flexible and grippy in winter conditions); (c) Commercial usage (including but not limited to Taxi, Uber, Delivery/Courier services, etc.); (d) EV or electric vehicles.

5. WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY

(a) Tires that become unserviceable due to:

  • Road hazards including but not limited to: impact damage, cuts, snags, punctures, etc.
  • Improper use or operation including but not limited to: improper inflation pressure, overloading, use of damaged wheels, misuse, negligence, driving improperly on poor road conditions, etc.
  • Improper or insufficient maintenance including but not limited to; failure to rotate tires as recommended, wheel misalignment, improper tire mounting, etc.

(b) Use in any off-road applications (excluding off-road tires); (c) Tires that are worn unevenly and/or show a difference of 2/32” (1.6mm) between the grooves; (d) Tires that are altered in any manner (additional siping, buffing, stud pin holes, re-grooving, truing, etc.); (e) Installation and/or any service charges incurred during installation; (f) Racing/competition tires in anything other than new condition; (g) No uniformity warranty coverage; (h) Clearance items, as indicated on invoice; (i) Single tires; (j) Customized sizes: If modified vehicles lack proper adjustments for custom tire sizes, Tiremaxx will not be held liable for resulting issues that may arise. In addition, if a customer chooses to go with a tire size that falls outside of the 3% offset range of the manufacturer’s recommended size, this is at the customer’s own discretion and will automatically void the warranty. Proper fitment is crucial.

TIRE LEAKING CAUSES:

  • Manufacturer defects such as tire bulges, cracks, structural damage, bead/belt separation. In the case there is a manufacturer defect, it would become apparent within the first few days of installation.
  • Rim residue, due to particles on the road, can lead to prevention of an airtight seal between tire and rim.
  • Valve stems prevent air from leaking, but sometimes they can become damaged or crack when tires are changed.
  • Road hazards such as potholes, curbs, speed bumps, tire punctures, nail drifting, screw punches, blown out tires, and sharp edge cuts. Rims can become damaged in these cases as well, voiding any warranty.
  • Vehicle condition can result in uneven wearing of the tires. For example, alignment, tire overload, incorrect air pressure (PSI), incorrect balancing, body/frame damage, and suspension tilt, voiding any warranty.

PROCEDURE FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS:

1. Customers MUST have the tire inspected by Apex Auto and Alignment and show us signed documentation claiming manufacturer defect.

2. Customers MUST have a sales record on our system to be eligible. If eligible, a replacement will be provided by Tiremaxx.
